i have both games installed and registered. I want to change the game to another comp, but i have lost the factions key. how do i find the other one on my comp.

you can play on any pc after downloading the client and installing on that pc.

all you need to do then is log in with your email used to create the account and your password

the key is only used once to create the account or merge another chapter

so to clarify. will the same cds work on the other comp?

yes.

they will save time but even if you lost the cds after logging in you could download the whole thing.

you will have a large download of updates anyway

EDIT

most people burn a copy of their dat file as a timesaver before transfering and copy that onto the new pc

You do not have to have the CDs to load your game on another PC. Just download the client from the GuildWars.com found on the lower right of the website or you can click here:

Login with your ID and Password that you have previously use. The Keys have been associated with your loginID.
