Im looking at getting a new Nvidia 7800GS OC AGP card after this thursday (if i do well on my exam results lol)
I was wondering, as i only now have a Radeon 9800pro, would this card fit in my case (i dont mean slot, i mean case, is it alot bigger than a 9800pro? could anyone post pics of the card if they have it inside their case so i can get a rough idea? thanks ^^)
Is it worth me upgrading at all now? Im running an AMD64 3000+, and a gig of ram.. on a AGP system... would a better idea be to hold on for christmas and just get a pcie system?
This card is quite alot of money and i dont want to waste it and find out the card doesnt actually fit in my case, or if it will be bottlenecked.
The best I can offer is the dimensions of the card its 9.8 x 2.8 x 6.8 inches with a weight of 1.9 pounds. you could have got this information from google as I did.
I have this card in my older PC and it's housed in an Gigabyte Aurora 3D Chassis case, the edge of the card sits about 1 inch from where the hard drive case is.
As for picture's sadly I have no camera. The only really way your going to know is to measure the inside of your case.
It's a very good card and wil play almost everything at max details and high resolution. Wether you get it or not is only the decision you can make
