I have experienced that problem few days ago,and i will tell u what i did
Because i could press reset password and than it supposed to send it to mail adress, and now they changed it so its unpossible,i went to NC and created a new NC account - thats web site u get directed to when u click on support from guildwars web site - for simple reason they have to do with character slot transactions and for some strange reason they have re directed password service to NC
The only and most simplier way to solve this problem is to create NC account...
U can also read questions and answers about guild wars on NC offical..(support) with same account,so they might give u more information on this

How Old Is Your Brother?
If your brother is old enough to know anything about computers (and this one is pretty basic) he may have installed a "key logger" which could also capture any new passwords you enter. They're very easy to track down, though. If you use something like AdAware http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/ which is free, it will find a keylogger and you can delete it. A lot of antivirus programs should as well.
I have two brothers and they would move heaven and earth to do something like this to me many years ago.
Be sure to clean out all your cookies, temp files, etc after you close the game, or shutdown your computer. With a curious brother like yours, you may want to do this anyway. I use Window Washer to remove all my footprints, cookies, temp files, that kind of thing. There are a few free ones at http://www.download.com.
Assuming you have windows xp, there is a feature that creates user names and passwords to choose from at login. This could take a little learning to get it right but would def get your brother to stop bugging you. Create an account for him. Put a password on your user name. I believe the one you are using (if you have no menu to logon when you start windows) would either be administrator or enduser. Not sure. I can walk you through it if you think that would help. On HIS account, he would only have access to the very basic programs, unless the administrator gives him access to others, or unless he installed them (assuming he has rights to do that). He would not be able to even SEE your Guild Wars program worse yet play it.
Here's Microsoft's website on how to do this in detail:
http://support.microsoft.com/default...279783&sd=tech
If this seems a little complicated, is there someone who might help you?
These are just a few ideas, but I always say... if you want total privacy, unplug it and put it in the closet....
Hey, let me know, I would be glad to help. I think this one's solvable!
