Can someone please help me find a solution to this please it's driving me nuts
when I play guild wars my computer freezes like 10-15 minutes in when in mostly quests or missions and pvp. cpu starts to make this sound.i dont get any errors computer just freezes up and stops workings ive tried everything to try to fix it. got a new storage supply cuz thats what we thought it was 350 w now still same problem updated drivers checked for viruses everything everything seems to meet requirements. can provide further info. Please Help

1GB Ram
At&t yahoo DSL
intel celeron dcpu3 3.20 ghz
Running:Windows XP(home)
Graphics card: Nvidia GEForce 7600GS
and I just got this computer it's like 2-3 months old plz help!

Sounds like a temperature problem to me.

Those eMachines, along with most other mass produced PC's, aren't big on the cooling solutions. Ok, they stick some half-decent components in there but if you skimp on the cooling then it means nothing.

Yeah. get some fans in the case or put everything in a bigger case. If you don't want to spend more money on it, just open up the side of the case and point a fan into it. See if that solves the problem.

well i tried putting a fan up to it and that didn't work so hmm i dont know what else to do i was thinking of buying those fans but this didnt work out so i dunno anymore anymore suggestions?
