Account Hacked - Need Suggestions
Alrighty, so about a month or two back I noticed when logging into my account, certain things were switched around. The servers had been changed from american to european. My interface for such things as skillbar were moved and out of order. I came to the conclusion that it was a bug. I was wrong. So, I sign on one day, log in and go to Heroe's Ascent to play some with my guild. They asked me why I was asking for 15k from people on the guild..Someone had hacked my account. About 15 minutes after this happened, I get an error stating "Another user has signed on from a different location..blah blah" so now I'm almost shitting my pants..Rank 10 account, every skill unlocked..I hope I'm having a nightmare. I log on, the problem ceases for 6 minutes before I get kicked off. I log on 2 minutes later and attempt to access the account to see that this scum bucket had changed my email and password. Better yet, he/she went even further to create an nc account, or log into the guild wars store, thus rendering the password or email unchangeable if I had attained it again. Obviously I did from my previous statement by doing some detective work. I added a name on that account that I had made and saw someone sign on one day while I was on my mule account. I start questioning the person, posing as their friend and saying "whatsup, long time no see". He/she obviously felt pressured to go along with it to not give off the feeling that they were a hacker or that they ebayed. Eventually I managed to get out his new email ----- and the password which happened to be his last name and a random number. Hoorah, I have the account back! Or so I thought...he started logging on again and I couldn't obviously do anything to change it. I email ANET with my situation, receive no response and don't know where to begin. Better yet, this is my first and original account so I do not have the box to it since I lost it about 2-3 months ago. I have no access key code, cd key, etc. What I do have is about 5-10 in real life friends to vouch for me that it was my account and another 10+ Ranked players from previous guilds in the game to verify I had been playing on that since forever...along with screen shots of me playing on it, and screenshots of the scum bucket who hacked it talking to me about someone had "sold it to him". I noticed this account was being sold for cash and materials when I had black dyes and ectos showing up in my inventory. Also I have the name of the person who had been signing on: -----, if any of you know him and someone by the name of ----- with an S, not to be confused by my other name ----- without the S. Now, for the record, I never hacked, downloaded third party programs, or was foolish enough to visit a "gw hacking site 1000k ez!!!" I don't have time for PvE, and mainly PvP. Back to the story, I sign on about 2 weeks ago to see "This account has been banned due to a breach of terms of service in your "user" agreement" Holy crap. 10,500 fame wisked away. Now, I know I'm going to call ANET tomorrow and they're going to tell me there's nothing that can be done, and that I'm screwed, but does anyone see a light within the tunnel? Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks and I know that the GWGuru community is behind me!

Keep harassing http://support.guildwars.com about it until you get your account back. Also, posting other people's IGNs isn't allowed.

Posting people's in game names might not be allowed, but I don't think a hacker deserves any rights.

Let me understand...
This guy was smart enough to use a logger or work out your email/password, but stupid enough to allow you to extract the new email and password to the account?
How did you manage that?

Sorry to say but i don't buy your story...there are some inconssistences...
1. how the hell would someone that hacks other people accounts be so stupid to give you his e-mail (or at least hits to it) on a personal message!!! Also, even if you menneged just to get his first name or something, while you were trying to "hack in" the stolen account he probably had saw in his window several messages of "some is trying to log in from another location..." how the hell didn't he do something about it?!
2. you said his password was his name whith a random number....while you were trying from 0 - 9, he also saw messages on the screen....why the hell didn't he do anything?!
3. as someone already said...someone smart enough to guess other peoples e-mail / password but stupid enough to get your account hacked?! Cmon!!!
4. this "I lost my case 3-4 months ago" is a little too convinient... I for one can't immagine how someone would loose his case!!! All my game cases sit in a dark sheve getting dust for years to come...there is no WAY it will be lost simply because I don't take the case whith me to play basketball or anything
5. You asked for a suggestion....so here it goes, write whith paragraphs next time! Huge chunks of text give me headaches.
Latter.

Ok before this goes too far, i'm closing the thread, wether his account of what happened is believable or not is not the issue.
Support has been contacted, so no further posts need added to this thread.
