I have 1,3 GHz Duron (Yeah it sucks), 512 MB DDR, but I have Radeon 9200, 64 mb, so I'm not absolutely sure will it work, but I still hope it does.
Does anyone already have experience with the Radeon 9200 card when playing Guild Wars?

I just want to know from you folks who have Beta tested the game if 512mb of RAM (the recommeded amount) is sufficient to run the game without lag. Right now I have 512mb and WoW lags for me substantially when I'm in high populated areas...in noticing that the technical requirements for this game are lower, I'm just curious if I'll be okay or will experience lag until I can afford to upgrade my RAM. Here are my current specs, any comments would be appreciated:
Pentium 4 2.8 GHz w/ HT Technology
120GB hard drive
NVidia FX 5200 256mb video card
512mb RAM
cable internet service
Thanks in advance!

My system meets the recommender requirements, so will I be able to play at a level of detail shown in the trailers?

That depends.
Even though you meet the recommended specs your card still need to support shader 2.0 fully and also support special lightning techniques used in the game.
If it wont support it you need to tone some settings down to medium or low since it'll lag if you don't.

It makes me wonder how the devs can put the recommended specs so low with such nice graphics. By the looks at the screenies you wonder if you can run it in it's full glory with just a mediocre system..

What is shader 2.0? my Geforcemx 440 only supports Vertex shaders but not the newer pixel shaders.

Shaders make the game look allot more realistic like:
- Reflective water
- Realistic shadow & lightning
- Bumpmapping on characters
The Geforce 2 MX and the Geforce 4 MX cards dont have any kind of pixel and vertex shaders since they are mostly for business use.
Geforce 3 supports 1.1 shaders.
Geforce 4 Ti cards also support 1.1 shaders if i'm correct
Geforce 5 (FX) cards supports shader 2.0 but In a very bad way.
Geforce 6 cards support the shader model 3.0 which is now the highest in shader ranking.

The GeForce TI 4200 is lower then the 9600 ATi, lol.
If you are willing to pay around $120 you should buy the Radeon 9800 Pro since it's still a high end card compared to all the other crappy FX 5200 and ATi 9500 series.

No I think I just worded it poorly, I know that a Ti is lower than an FX. I meant should I get a TI *OR* a lower end FX like a 5200. I do not need or care about a 9800, all I need is a card that will allow me to play this one game at full detail. Not any other game, not a game 2 months from now... just GW and in 100% detail. I have been building computers for over 12 years and am well aware of what is out there in graphics cards, I just wanted to know if someone had a similar PC as mine spec wise and a better graphics card that was playing at full graphics. I was hoping to hear from someone with a TI or low end FX or ATI card.

maxpower - You can buy a better monitor for about $60 - $150 CRT from a lot of places since the LCD's are really taking over the market right now.
Argent - Just to let you know the 9200 is a very old card so by rights, there will be issues with it. Remember, those are the minimum requirements, meaning everything needs to be as low as possible to run the game. If the problem keeps up, just change areas that your in (if its in a town your having problems) and it should help the load time / lag your getting.
