Default Quality PC for Nightfall?

Hey all, I just purchased Nightfall. I have been hearing a lot about how great the game is, how different it is, tons of great stuff. I unfortunately have also been hearing a great deal about lag. I don't have a very good computer but I managed to run prophecies and a friends faction account fine.

I wanted to know how I can check to make sure my PC fits atleast all the system requirements. The things I know are my graphics card - Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset (my computer stock), that I have XP, I have DirectX 9.0 and my 25GB Free C: Drive Space.

How can I find out the other things like my Pentium Level, my RAM, if my graphics card is quality enough, and my sound card?

Thanks guys for any advance help!

-Sergio

Oh thank you, I got everything but the sound. I found it on there but it didn't really clarify if it was 16-bit or not. I have enough RAM for minimum (well it's 504 but I hear that its just not reading the 512?) so I will probably need to upgrade that soon.

Will my Graphics card be decent enough to run the game on lowest quality?

Your graphics card may give you FPS problems. Intel isn't a very good Chipset to use with GW. I use a rather old Intel card (Not upgrading since I'm gonna get a new DESKTOP :3), and I can hardly get more than 25 FPS =.=" (That's playing low settings, and making my window pretty much 300x300 minimized >:\. Since your's is 915, you should have a lot better luck than me ^^ (Mine's an ancient 845 D.

512 MB RAM is a good base for most games, but upping to 1GB if your using that computer for more than just GW (Other games, project working, editing, ect.) is nice (I'm getting a desktop with 1GB RAM for around 800 USD - It has 2.4 Ghz, nice nVidia GFX Card, and a 160 GB Hard Drive).

Well, you should be able to play Nightfall just fine with those specs. Just do some minute changes to the graphics and/or sound to buff up some of the smoothness, and learning how to Defrag your .dat file may help aswell.

If you can afford it upgrade your am to 2 gigs, that will help out a lot. As far as onboard video some intel video chipsets dont play nice with Guild Wars. Install the game and see how it runs thats the best advice I can give.
