My graphics card is a gefoce 5200 and i'm just gonna wait till the dx10 graphics cards get to a lower price
I am still useing my Radeon 9550 for the same reason. I built my current system in 2004, when PCIe was still very expensive and hard to find. I have been planning my upgrade for months now, and made the decision to wait for the next gen video cards before I made the move.
I basically decided it would be foolish to move up to something with PCIe, only to change video cards a few months later. I am holding off on the CPU upgrade for the same reason. I bought the system with the idea of changing CPUs to dual core at a later date. And the X2 4200 is a great price now, but I see no reason to upgrade it and be stuck with AGP.
I currently have an ATI X1900XTX installed within my tower, I know that most players cannot afford the top of the line cards, so just go with what you can afford, make sure it has at least 128 megs of ram though.
