Downloaded new drivers for card- GW now worse...
I run at GEforce6100- and just downloaded the latest drivers for it...
I thought this would help my slowdown of FPS during certain post effects moments and times when the action was busy... as it turns out, the driver download was a bad idea... GW now chops along at about 24 FPS, theres pausing moments once every seven seconds, and the most annoying- theres a VERY thin black bar the the top of my screen... This bar is something I really cant explain- and screenshots dont help... The bar is very thin... maybe one pixel in height, but stretching across the top... it looks just like the edge of my monitor.. nothing big.. until I move my camera... when I move the camera to where the text on the page (ie- player tags, NPC names) would go up off camera, it almost seems as though the text gets 'stuck' in the bar... it's hard to explain like I said... lets say I have an NPC in the screen, with their name showing... if I was to move the camera so that their name goes up and off screen, their name sticks in the black bar at the top... leaving a small "one pixel wide" line... to make it worse, it wont go away unless I shrink GW and all the text that passes over the top stacks... This driver was bad for my computer... What can I do? |

Roll back to the previous drivers?
Or try other ones. |
