AMD Athlon 64 2.4ghz
Asus NFORCE4 SLI BOARD
NVDIA 6600gt (SLI-PCIe)
NVDIA 6600gt (SLI-PCIe)
1 GiG RAM
2x180 SATA HDD
Cisco 352 WLAN NIC
IntelPro 10/100/1000
NVIDIA SOUND (on board)
CSW 5.1 sound (although using headphones mainly for GW)
Put it all in some ANTEC Tower Case I had lying around but added 600watt power as DOOM3 and the SLI were a big drain LOL.
Man this PC is fun!
I have an older P4 (2.4 I think)
with Radeon9800 256 CARD
Truth is my "old" system runs GW just fine as well.

Man, my Computer is crap now to compared to the rest of you, lol, here's mine:
Windows XP
AMD Athlon XP 2400+, MMX, 3DNow, ~2.0Ghz
768MB RAM (had 256, then put in a 512)
Sapphire ATI Radeon 9250 128MB Ultra Fast 128bit DDR AGPx8 Graphics Card
Now, I got a small amount of Gigabytes for my PC, but I only use like 12GB of Space, and I got...40GB :$

SMP support is enabled by the terminal command: r_smp 1
Supposedly they didn't spend a huge amount of time optimizing this feature, so you will probably only see a 15-20% performance increase.

A good mouse pad can make a difference with optical mice - not necessarily for tracking accuracy (although it can help), but for the smooth surface. I use this stuff on a home-made mousepad with teflon tape on the mouse feet:

It really does make a difference for FPS games. There is a long thread in the Hot Deals section of the Anandtech forums extolling the virtues of this stuff.

principa...you know its dangerous pushing the CPU past 220HTT on that board right?? we could fry our vid cards and PCI cards since there is no AGP/PCI lock
the bus on those two get increased and might start messing up stuff...also hard drive corruption occurs..for that fact, im going to get me a DFI Lanparty NF3 250GB board..

P4-3ghz
1GB RAM - no clue what kind/type, that's hubby's department, I forget as soon as it's bought
GeForce 6200 w/128 video ram - yes I'd like 256 but, well, I'm lazy/hate shopping, and this still works fine
30GB HD - small, but I have a networked 2nd computer for huge HD 'storage' purposes, I like things seperate
On-board Real-Tek sound - yes, I know, how evil - but again, works fine, don't care
enough to buy a seperate card at the moment
Toshiba DVD/CD
Some big blue/black case with so many fans cardboard will 'stick' to the grille.
17" generic monitor
generic keyboard
a basic MS wheelmouse - it's one of the few that's still very small, for my small hands
...and a partridge in a pear tree. It rests on top of the monitor....

Cool, let me know if you find a way to monitor chipset temps that would work on my Asus A7N8X-E Deluxe. I'm curious what those temps should be and what they are actually running, particularly northbridge.
