Screen goes black!
For the last few days I've been having trouble playing Guild Wars. After a few minutes of logging into the game, my screen goes black yet the power is still on. I can hear my character moving etc but see nothing, and I am then forced to reboot my PC to get a picture. I also have the same trouble in CSS. Before anyone suggests it, I updated my video card drivers less than 30 minutes ago.

System specs would help here. Also, what are your game settings for graphics?

My specs are:
- Pentium 4 3.6 GHZ (dual CPU) - 1024 MB RAM - nVidia 6200 LE - 160 GB HDD All settings are maxed with AA off and I've never had any problems up until a few days ago. The screen also goes black when I play CSS and occasionally whilst browsing the net. I log into GW, go to my Guild Hall and within 5 minutes it goes black but I can still hear everything. The refresh rate is set to 60 HZ and my screen resolution is 1280x1024 (17" SAMSUNG SyncMaster713BM). I doubt it's a graphics card issue as there is no freezing or looping sounds. |
