Default Screenshots and FPS (2 questions)

O.o First ever visit to the Technicians Corner (nerds! jk)...

Anyways, here are my 2 questions.

a) I take a fair amount of screenshots, pressing ctrl + print screen. But after Dec 15, they just stopped saving to the folder. I've been using the same method over and over, but I don't know why they stop all of a sudden.

b) FPS. GW always runs at a good pace, I only get lag when: loading to Kaineng Center (that place is HUGE, who doesn't get lag?) and the first battle of every time I zone. My FPS ranges from 15-30 and it isn't even all that bad. But some guildies has FPS of 100+. How is that possible? Are they really running that much more smoother than me?

Is your Screenshots folder full? You can only take up to 999 screenshots before having to move all those screenshots to another folder.

1) Pressing Print Screen on its own will save screenshots to the folder, perhaps you could try that.
2) Depending on your graphics card, RAM, and processor, you can get much higher framerates than others. "Smooth" movement is defined at 60fps, though some people can detect slight differences up to around 75. So yes, if you have guildies with dual GeForce 7950 GX2s with 4GB RAM and an Intel Core 2 Extreme processor, they could probably EASILY break 100 fps. Oh, monitor size has a lot to do with it as well. On my GeForce 7900GT, I got 76 fps avg on a 20" fullscreen monitor. On my new 22" widescreen, I get 60 fps on the same settings.

Vertical sync option also has a lot to do with. (correct me if I'm wrong) but I think you can't break like 75 if you have vertical sync enabled (do monitors go above 75 refresh rate?)? Anyway, FPS will be locked into a certain cap if you have vertical sync enabled, as it limits it to that cap due to the monitor's refresh rate.
