GW Reinstalling?
I was playing Guild wars today and it was working fine. Then when i exitted, it said it had to repair the data archive. no biggie.
Once the archive repair thing had been completed. it started downloading. i left it while it was at 2% and had downloaded 10mb. I've just come back and entered the game. all my settings have been reset. and i just mapped in and its 13% with 23 mb downloaded and 13k files remaining. Maybe there was a problem that forced Guild Wars to repair itself. Don't know.
I'm think it would be better if you use the -repair switch for your gw.exe. |
