Default Problem with GW and word

I know this sounds weird, but whenever i play GW after about 5 mintes MS words decides to open 3 or 4 seperate documents, and keeps bumping them to the top of the screen (so GW gets minimised). If i close them they just come back. I've re-installed GW and that hasn't solved anything, so i assume its something to do with word being gay. Has anyone any ideas on how to stop word from poping up? (so change some settings some where)

Thanks

The first thing you should do is to run scans for spyware and viruses since those can make programs behave in an abnormal way.

Do not pass go! Immediately download and install:

Avast! Home Edition 4.7.942

Windows Defender 1.1.1593

Spybot Search and Destroy 1.4

There are many free spyware detection/removal/virus utilities, I use the ones listed above because they are updated very frequently and have proven to be reliable. Also, they don't have "nag" screens and aren't crippleware.

Remember to update definition files frequently. AVast! and Microsoft Windows Defender does it automatically, and with Sypbot you just need to tell it.

Another good free program is Lavasoft Ad-Aware. It is another one where you have to manually do the updates, but if you haven't used the program for a few days it will say "It has been X days ... blah blah... would you like to update definitions?" and you obviously say yes. Good luck

Ya, that's a good one too....I keep it on "standby".. I like layering the protection on on my PC because sometimes even the best utility won't find every malware infection, so I use a shotgun approach when the situation calls for it.

Fortunately for me, it's been a long time since I had an issue...but once was enough lol...

I had a hijacker and it took for ever to get rid of it, so I learned prevention was a superior approach.

Microsoft is making homosexual software now? Well, so long as they remove it from the Office suite I suppose I can tolerate that. We must preserve the sanctity of the software bundle, people! Only straight software titles should be allowed to form such a union!

But, yeah. Probably some type of malware. Installing any 3rd-party GW applications lately?
