I have to disagree. Just about everybody I know/have spoken with on forums has had good luck in games with long load times going from 512MB to 1GB. More RAM = more room to swap data around = less re-loading data from the HDD. Sure, if your system is REALLY outdated it won't help much, but for most people it makes a difference in load times in many games.
