Solid Color screen???
I have dealt with this bug for a while since i got my new monitor(19" LCD wide screen) basically what happens is, i will minimize my game to check email or myspace or msn or whatever.. then i maximize and the screen will be a one random solid color , except for my hud, text inventory stuff that you would see in a hud would be normal, now this doesnt happen all the time. but when it does i usually minimize the game then maximize a few times and it goes away, latley it seems that minimizing and maximizing doesnt cut it, i ahve to restart the game.
i have a geforce 7900 gtx 512mb
2 gigs of ram
2.8ghz processor
Amd Athlon 3800+(2x)
Here is an SS of settings in GW

I think I might have the same monitor as yours. Is it a Phillips?

I dunno if this would work, but set your refresh rate to default setting.

Try setting your processor back to stock speed, and also do your 7900 if you have that overclocked too.

I have a 19" Widescreen Viewsonic.
I'll try that, but what exactly does the refresh rate do? the small detailed things appear to look better after i set it to max

Yeah, the X2 3800+ runs at 2.0GHz, if you've got it running at 2.8GHz then it may be unstable if you're not using any extra cooling solutions.
