Hi, i'd like a little help from you guys.
Gw was always running smooth until today!
i had lag so i looked at my taskmanager and saw that GW was taking all of my cpu !!! :S

can you guys help me correct this because it is almoste not playable with such lag please help me

it may be because of some sort of update that takes up more room so have a look on websites for a updated version of ATI

It is not your cpu thats causing you lag, gw will use 100% of your cpu when running this is normal,

Post your specs please that way we can offer some advice.

I am having the same issue. It started about a month ago, but in the last week it has been really bad. 3 of the last 4 missions i have lagged out on. It's getting frustrating since i have been playign for almost a year and a half without any problems.

I have a laptop with an Anthalon 64 2.0. 1GB of ram and a 128mb video card(not shared memory). i was running medium settings on the graphics before and had no issues, now i'm on the lowest settings and its not running hardly at all. I will check out the ATI site for drivers....

Very frustrating. Thanks for any tips.

When GW is running it uses as much CPU capacity as it can, as does nearly every game you can mention. It's only showing as less usage in task manager when you minimize GW to take the screenshot.

As said above though, GW using 100% of your CPU does not cause lag in the game. That could be down to a myriad of things.
