Cant "Call" in game
Hi there, since i got a new keyboard i cannot call a target by pressing CTRL+Space Bar, before i always coul. but not anymore....
anyone know or have same problem and know how to solve it thanks in advance |

well your space bar seems to be working, but is your ctrl key working? could be a problem.. check to make sure, if its not i suggest taking back your keyboard

yes my CTRL Key works, but them 2 together.. it wont call my target ;(..
and my old keyboard was broken xD Really noone knows what it could be? |

Check your settings in Guildwars. Go to "controls" and scroll down the list to the very bottom. Check the entry for "Targeting: Show Targets". By default that key is CTRL, but if it is a special keyboard something may be mixed up there.

Well. i have checked that, and that is alright.
But seperated without combinating ctrl+space, so just CTRl to look for NPC's works, and auto attack with space bar works, but together it wont call  PS i figured out that my Right "Alt Gr" key does the "Call" thing with Spacebar+Left Alt. how do i make that it works with CTRL+Space bar? thx btw 84-175 Last edited by Wickie; Apr 02, 2007 at 04:26 PM // 16:26.. |

In the settings don't you just change it to whatever you want it to be? Or just hit restore defaults and it should be fine?

stickykeys
I don't know if this could be it but it might be the stickykeys option in windows.
If you have it on it might be stopping you calling maybe. Go into Control Panel then into Accessibility Options Under the keyboard tab uncheck Stickykeys and hit ok It is already unchecked check it then uncheck it. I hope this helps. You can also try other keyboard also if your new keyboard came with software try removing the software or if you did not install it try installing it. |

weird i kno but do u have msn plus installed? the boss mode by default is set to CTRL+SPACE and sometimes even tho its disabled it will still activate so i moved it to another hotkey before disabling.. if not that it could be another program that has global hotkeys over-riding the GW command

Wow Smart people around, TheYellowKid, You was right, I have msn plus! installed but i seriously did not know there was a ctrl+space command..
i uninstalled it and tried to target myself +the calling , and it does work now, thank you very very much all for your time. really apreciate it  you all helped D

You dont need to reinstall Msn Plus. Just make sure you configure Msn Plus good enough..
In the Msn Plus options there is a tab Messenger.. At the left side there is standing something about Lockup.. (not sure if its that.. I have the Dutch version)... There you can click it on or off.. I had the problem to. Solved it and am still working with Plus  Good Luck |

MSN Plus is spy ware junk. it changes your MSN as well as mod's your IE I would recommend removing it and never look back. If you find your computer is running slower then normal MSN Plus and other are probably the problem. I would recommend scanning your computer for spyware and maybe even virus scan it. MSN Plus = Evil |
