I'm trying to find out what motherboard i have, so that i can upgrade my RAM, but i have..no idea how to tell what motherboard I have, so if someone could give a guide on what to do? lol..
Google the model of your pc/laptop/notebook and from there you can see the features and specifications (including motherboard type, the types of installable RAM (pins and stuff) and the maximum ram that your board can handle (# of slots)) from the manufacturer/distributors' page.

A good way to find out this information would be to download a little program called CPU-Z from this site: http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php
It's free and can run from your desktop or anywhere else.
The utility will gather critical information about your comp, including your mb manufacturer, model, chipset, and revision. Basically, everything.
Mainboard info is displayed like so:
(Example is Abit IN9 32X-max....)
Definitely worth downloading
