Just a quick - and kind of dumb - question.

I have seen the link to change my account password, which is fine.
But is there a way to change my account email? My ISP, and hence, my email, have changed since I started playing GW 2 years ago. Is there any possible way to change the email address associated with my account?

There is no way to do so. The email is permanently linked to the account.

Gaile has said that this issue needs to be resolved by PlayNC, and they've expressed no real desire to change this system.

Although this is absolutely true, when my account got hacked into, my login email was changed by the hacker. Now after going through support to get my account back, they were unable to reverse the email name back to its original one, saying it's not gonna happen.

So the ability to change your own email is out of the question, but it can still be changed...

you can't change the email name of the account, but you can change the email address to which you want plaync to communicate with you.

Um.... I'm gonna assume this is a different email address from the login address. I've changed the login email about 4 times since I've had my account registered, using the edit account button in character selection and checking on Change Email Address.

Each time has worked, without hassle so I'm guessing were talking about a different email address problem here.

Have you ever registered with PlayNC?

I just tried to do what you suggested here, and when I got into the Edit Account, there's a gap between the top of the box and the first option there. I'm suspecting that's where your Change Login (or the equivalent) would pop up, and I'd further hypothesize that it disappears when you link your account to a PlayNC account.

Yea it's at the top, I would post a picture but my driver problem is preventing that. Don't believe I've linked my PlayNC account to Guild Wars so that must be why I can see this option then.
