I recon you should do a virus check (if uve got norton or mcaffe...they dont help, in pc mag they were the worst of picking up viruses and other things... if u have em get a month trail of kaspersky (kaspersky.com)). I recon its a virus. Also it could be the graphics card it might now be able to cope (Specs of pc might help)! Give the specs and ill try and help

Well, you didn't say what brand/kind of mouse you are using. One thing I've found to cause a lot of mouse problems is running the driver for the mouse. WinXP doesn't really need a mouse driver - for example, I'm using a Logitech MX-518 and all the buttons work without the driver.
And, of course, if you're overclocking anything (even the video card) try setting the clocks back to normal to see if the problem goes away.
Make sure you have the latest drivers for your motherboard, video card, sound card, etc.. Make sure you have the latest version of DirectX.
At the worst, you can try re-installing GW - all your character data etc., is server side, so you won't lose anything except the time it takes to download all the updates.

i have a cheap Memorex wireless mouse. i never installed the driver for it, i just used windows' ps/2 driver.
i reinstalled that driver regardless. it's fine now. but i have a feeling it's not mouse issue.
my comp is free of of virus, spyware and malware. the game itself doesn't lag while the glitch is on.

I have a similar problem, My mouse is almost always blinking/flashing, and when i don't move it it comepletely dissapears. I have no idea how to fix it. It was working fine for over a year now, no mouse problems before, and now it is terrible, I can't even play it now because a "Critical Error" pops up every time, and i can't even use all of the letters on my keyboard. How do I know this? The letters i need are mostly the ones i can't use! I had this same problem a while ago but wasn't as bad, so i had some one look at it and he fixed it, everything but the whole mouse thing, and then just a week and a half later the problem is back with a vengance. I more letters are disabled. On the bottom line on my keyboard i can only type the letters
"ZXV,./"
Those are the only ones on that row of keys, so i can only use about 4-7 letters on each row. Anyone know how to fix this?
