Gaile even posted at some point over the weekend in these forums with the link

I have been playing GW since the start, when the game was released in the EU, and I can't say I have had so much lagg in the history of GW gaming.
There is no reason for the lagging unless there are problems with either the servers or the coding for the new update. Every time they have had a Special Event for GW there has been minimal lagg and servers have ranged from 1 to 100, unlike this time. If they wish to provide a service they need to provide a good service to all people, even if they are beta testing the new system for GW2 or Eye of the North, they should expect a high volume of players like they have for other events.
The problems people are experiencing are a disgrace and, yes, something does need to be done about it. I pay for the game and expect a service, I buy the collectors editions for the game, they are expensive and cost more than what it costs to play a, "Pay to play game"
I don't expect something to be fixed right away but if more than a persentage of players are having a problem, and complian, it is their duty to fix the problem, their service. As classed, not of Merchantable quality.

Me too. I've never lag so much ever in guildwars except for this weekend. It was so bad I couldnt even play, my light was green maybe 1% of the time. The other 99% was a spilt between orange and solid red -.-
Hoping this is just from the festival and stuff

Gee, 100 districts all packed completly full, and theres lag? NO WAY?
get over it, with the special more people were on than normal and lag happens, hooray for AFKers on the rings.
I had DC issues for a month or so, cost me TA and HA matches and things in PvE land. Anyone se me make a thread about it crying? NO
Ya know what I did? All I could on my end. I called my ISP and got a new modem. And now no DCs, not one.
If you have had lag forever/every day for months, its most likely on your end.
If you had bad lag this weekend, it was the festival.
Now please start making threads with a point to them.

first time here on guru forum? or you dont know that from some weeks ago 99% of the european players are getting spikes of lag that make game impossible to play, if you think that your modem will solve the problem of all european players just sell it to A-NET and help them solve the problem like they are doing (i hope)
