Exactly!
So submit the diagnostic report.
There's a serious difference between them getting 100 diagnostic reports, which they can write off as being "statistically insignificant", or everyone having problems submitting a report.
If their tech support gets flooded with these reports, it will raise some flags higher up, rest assured.

Lagg,
I like your optimism. But unless ANet/NCSoft have some sort of Service Level Agreement with whoever is giving them access/bandwidth, there is little they can do apart from complain. However, what we can do is give them ammunition.
As for me, I'm going to have a nice glass of wine and watch some stuff I've recorded. Then I'm going on holiday for 2 weeks in a couple of days.
If the game ain't fixed by the time I get back, then ANet may as well give it up, because the'll have lost a large proportion of their player base......

Couldn't agree more, Mouse.
It's still a crying shame about the lag, but the reason why I'm "defending" Anet is because they have been honest with the playerbase in the past. No reason for them to lie about this.
I just really hope they do have some authority regarding their bandwidth providers.
In the meantime, all that we can do is let ourselves be heard.
And that doesn't mean by outing endless ragequit threats, but by providing information, which may or may not be useful. There are few alternatives, anyway.
I still think Anet are doing a great effort keeping their servers running properly over 90% of the time, which is a lot more than most. Still, this issue has gone completely out of hand and needs to be resolved as fast as everyone can arrange it.
So let's keep our heads cool, our morale up and hope for the best.
In the meantime, if the kids posting on this board want to call me a moron for trying to make the best out of a bad situation, that's completely up to them. And the moderation.

green light to orange in ID, orange to dead in EN earlier so like others have said use that if your having those issues. Anet have already said its not on their end so i dont get why people are complaining at them, seems a bit pointless imo.
After playing in ID all day went back to EN a lil bit ago and now have green light.. finally after about 3 weeks 78 ping Avg 88 so maybe whatever problem there was is fixed now. Earlier i was error'ing out with 56k ping
Now just to see if this holds or if its jus a small lag free window

I tried the english EU districts an hour ago. It started promising, but ended up having to log back in after an error 7.
Seeing as it isn't resolved yet, it's probably a safer bet to stick with the ID's this weekend as I doubt it will be resolved during the weekend.

Yeah at the time of posting, the euro districts are still unplayable.
I've been managing by forming a group in Eng-1, then moving over to International-1 to actually play the mission. Of course there's still quite a high chance of Error 007 when moving between districts.

Yup, ID is where it's at.
Oh well, at least it works. High ping, but no rubber banding.
Hope we'll hear more from Anet after the weekend.

Can barely move around at the moment. Even in International districts which have been my refuge from the lag over the past 8 days.

In Poland it's the same. Pings are sky-high for like 3 days now. Most of the people are really pissed-off. I wanted to have my Tormented Scythe but with this lag it's impossible to do DoA properly... And people in International districts (yay, green ball!) act like bots or something...
*sigh*

Nah, to be fair they're not all bots - some of them are actual people (collecting the gold they bought off eBay).

I think they need to do something about there servers when school is out or something

Hmm to my big surprise, ping for me kindda returned to normal... Last night around 3 a.m. (Warsa, Berlin Time) it was ok, but I was to excited by that fact to write a post =D I didn't really hope that when I wake up I'd have normal pings. But hey, it's green ball most of the time, sometimes turns yellow.
Keeping my fingers crossed!

14k average ping for the last hour or so. Good thing there's the nine rings, but, I'd like to actually play a bit as well, you know?

I kinda missed this whole thread. It's probably a week late now but I'm getting this too. It has ruined the double faction weekend for me and it's ruining the festival too. UK here.
