Confusing: Title says 1920x1600 but you talk about 1920x1200.
Well, I'm running Guild Wars in 1920x1200 and it works great. I live to have space to have mission map and other goodies on screen and still have clear view over the world.

Yep, 1920x1200 work like a charm. Tons of real-estate for hero panels, etc.

My laptop runs GW at native 1920x1200 60fps without any issues.

Not to hijack the thread but I too am considering upgrading my monitor. Either a 20" or 22". If I go with the 22" widescreen and set the resolution to say 1440 x 900 will it fill up the entire screen or will it have the black bars at the top and bottom like some movies do on large tv screens?

You need to run on native resolution. LCD's were not meant to run on anything else.

Depending on your video card you can set it so that it will render with black bars, so that there is a 1:1 ratio between resolution and pixels used. Otherwise it will stretch.

I never have quite understood what native resolution is. I have that option on my HD TV and the explanation in the users guide doesn't help in understanding it.
As for the black bars, I would prefer not to have them if possible. I run an Nvidia 6800 GS. Would prefer to have GW displayed in full screen with no bars.

Thanks everyone. I bought a Samsung 24" 1920x1200 monitor (a 245BW in case anyone is interested) and am loving it! It works great. I have an Nvidia 8800 GTS video card and the pixels are square (i.e., no stretching which is what I was worried about).

Might be a little offtopic.. but the triple screen 3840x1024 setup is awesome :O
And well, if that is supported, 1920x1600 won't be a problem
