I don't think it's related to the update; It could be an issue with your video drivers or the video card could be going bad.

Try update your video card driver. Jul 17 update did have a few tweak to the graphic.

Pretty sure its not driver/card related because I haven't changed anything and every other program is working as before.

I had that issue before on my old video card for a long period of time. It was never resolved and no its not drivers.
Through my experience it was either Heat or Damage to the video card

Try disabling antialisng and some others graphics options and let see
|
