Seems like GuildWars has a vengance against 6600GT
it doesnt apply to only to the asus
i dont know if its all 6600GT
but im using a MSI , and they are basicly built the same way, just dif color and memoryspeed
and its not my drivers, or the pc itself, ive even tried a clean install, with old GOOD drivers that give better performance
and with never drivers , but to no luck, GuildWars still locks up randomly
and its getting f-ing annoying, specially since i am monk
sure i can reconnect, but a party without heals is often dead
i want to play with ppl, but i dont feel like getting in a grp when i know i might lock up anytime

I unchecked the wait for vertical sync and that has fixed mine.

its under the graphics in game , in options F11

altho i can confirm that this does NOT help for 6600GT cards
atleast not for me, same lockups and loops
and vsync off should only make it worse if any
since it puts more load on the gfxcard when turning of vsync

I have already ask PlayNC support on saturday, they just ask me to give them dxdiag log, and today they ask me give them hijackthis log.
I hope they finally know what happen on us. @_@

Yeah, that's the generic response from the worst customer support I've ever had the misfortune to use. My dxdiag and hijack this logs were both absolutely fine and now they're ignoring my emails, well not responding anyway, because they don't know what the problem is!

If I had that attitude towards customers I'd be sacked!

sigh.......ok, now they ask me to download Everest Home Edition and run report. i dunno how many diagnostic program still have to download and run to let them finally know it is their Guild Wars GWEN Update problem and provide a fix to us.......
