or some time now i have been wanting to make videos on my PC only to find that for some reason FRAPS now no longer works. I had spent months trying to find a semi decent screen recorder and have stumbled across what i hear to be the best free one there is ZD Soft Screen Recorder.

I'm asking my question here, because quite frankly when it comes to Tech questions about computers or the game the Guild Wars Guru is #1. You guys really know what your talking about and put it across in such a friendly and helpful tone.

Please note that i use Windows XP, and have a fast computer, and thus would be able to run high processor programs.

First i would to like make sure that ZD Soft Screen Recorder is one of the best ones (excluding FRAPS of course, even their support couldn't help).

Secondly i would love to know the name of some free Video Editing software, i intend, to start making movies for games just to start of with to get some practice before i have to do it for A-level.

Thirdly any guides or tips in general, or of the new software and how to effectively video scenes in-game, or how to zoom in on a pre recorded video would be very greatly appreciated.

Lastly let me give you your much earned gratitude. You guys have helped me with various questions before, and your friendly relaxed attitude always makes me wonder why major cooperations bother running customer service at all.
