Grrrr. Ok, this is the problem I am having. I have installed everything and DirectSong does work. But it only works for some songs. I purchased the Nightfall Collector's and as you know it comes with a key for the collector edition songs.My Sorrow's Furnace works fine but my collector edition songs don't. WTF? I tried everything Directsong.com/support told me, none of it helped -_-. Any advice?

Check your Windows Media Player version and your codec version. Some older versions may not support the encoded .wma files.

Even with the latest Windows Media Player using the latest codec, there were reports of bugs (?) when you try to play these files under Windows XP SP2 and earlier versions and Windows Vista may be required to play these .wma files, since Windows Vista fully support DRM. Other forums posed using FairUse4WM to bypass DRM and recommend playing them under VLC (codec included), platform-independently. Both VLC and FairUse4WM are freeware. Remember that FairUse4WM does not crack DRM, it only removes the DRM header, turning these files into DRM-free .wma files and it works for other files to transfer to iPod, Sony PSP, PlayForSure and other services using the DRM code.
