Not authorized to Play Guildwars
I had taken a break from guildwars this summer for a period of about two months and now want to play again since the release of eye of the north.
after logging into my account i get this message:
'your account is not currently authorized to play guild wars. if you wish to contine ue playing please clickt he enter store button above and purchase the appropriate guidl wars campaign.'
This is NOT a trial version and i purchased this account through plaync
i know my characters are still there even though i can't see them because i tried to make characters on my other account with the same names and it says the names are taken so i know the account isn't deleted or something.
someone please tell me what i can do to fix this

Just got the EXACT same problem! This is stupid! I was just logged in over an hour ago playing fine! Let my friend log in who has GWEN.. (I have all 3 except GWEN, it's on order due Monday).. And then it says I'm not authorised!?
I've never had any problems with my Guild Wars account or the game itself for the past 2+ years (played since beginning) and now out of nowhere, within just over an hour - I'm not authorised anymore..?

Ya I have the same problem but main issue is that I got Night Fall as a gift from a friend and it was bought using the online store, so there is no way I can get the CD-Key back.
We contacted support and they said no cd-key then no support which lead to both of us getting extremely angered because if they would look at my account they would see that I actually own the game.
I was later told by my guild leader to come here and see if I gain any actual assistance.
Only thing that really angers me is how by the amount of people who have had this problem Arena-Net must know about it but they do not fix it because it gives them extra money from the people who lost/never reseaved a CD-Key.

No, it is too much work filtering the cd-key scammers from legitimate lost-cd-key players, that cost of operation is not justified.

I always thought that you were sent a confirmation email that contained the key-code when you purchased from the online store. Well, I did for each of the extra character slots I purchased.

In that case then, you're screwed! That email acts as both proof of purchase and a receipt! It also states this :-
