Hi all

asking a question for a friend
anways

Could u merge 2 accounts [nightfall & factions] together
, just wanted to know if it is possible.]

any proof or anecdotes will be appreciated

They don't merge accounts in the method most people want.

You can't take your Nightfall account with 3 toons and merge it with your Factions account with its characters.

Rather they take all your game information, such as access code for one chapter, which ever you select, and then delete the content. And add a new chapter to one account (Or supply you with a clean access key to add).

So if you choose to keep your nightfall chapter then you'll be given a Factions access key to add to it; But it won't have all the items and toons that were with you old account.

I think the reason they don't merge accounts is because you get 4 character slots when the campaign is stand alone, but only 2 additional slots if you add a key to an existing game. Thus, if you had *just* Factions, you get 4 character slots, and if you had *just* Nightfall, you have 4 character slots, but if you combined them, you'd only have 6 character slots.

I suppose they could require that you have no more than 6 character slots in use for combining 2 campaigns, or 8 for combining 3, but then it could get a bit messy.

Frankly, why we lose character slots for combining the campaigns, is a question I'd like to know the answer to...

And it is possible, I did it. Email them with account name+password+access keys associated with the accounts. They'll re-issue you with a new CD key and then you add it ^^

I have been wanting to merge my two accounts ever since I made the mistake of not.

What is ANet's email adress so i can get them merged?

The merging of accounts is not possible as far as I'm aware. You best log a support ticket with NCPlay support and ask if it can be done.

Don't get your hopes up.

they do not merge accounts.

they permalock one account and issue you a key to add under manage keys to the original account

the other account is not merged but lost.

Ouch, today I filled out the form, sent them both keys etc.

I really hope they can cancel one of the accounts and give me a new key or something, would be awesome. Also I hope it works with CE keys. I created both accounts over a year ago..

I hope I get lucky.
