If you want to stick with ATI, I'd personally look at the new HD 2000 series, Such as one of these. Personally I'd probably go with a Geforce 8-series card though.

Same system as mine apart from you have a larger hard disk and a slightly better motherboard. If you want this just to play GW then it runs it fine.
Although you could consider updating the graphics card to a HD 2000 series as mentioned above. I think ati has discontinued that current graphics card, as the place i bought mine from (ebuyer) doesnt stock it anymore.
i think your hard disk is a pretty high one, with 16mb cache, and the memory is more than enough.
Good luck on your decision.

Hmm i will look into the GeForce cards, thanks for pointing that out.
As for what im going to play on it, mostly GuildWars but also FPS like FEAR, CSS, FarCry and the coming Unreal Tournament.
I need the massive hard disk for my music, because i listen to music A LOT.
Any other suggestions/upgrades?

For the same price as the E6550 (2.3gig) you can get an AMD dual core 3gig (AMD64 X2 6000+).

Maybe, but the clock rate doesn't mean much - they're mostly tied in any performance benchmarks and the Core 2 Duo runs a lot cooler under load due to the better fab process and uses less power under 100% load (thus being pretty overclockable too). The Athlon 64 X2 CPU uses slightly less power when idle due to better CPU power saving features, and may have a slight edge on some memory bandwidth-intensive tasks, though.

The ATI card is pretty solid too. I put one in for a customer of mine and he's been in gaming bliss ever since.
Personally, though, I recommend you stay with the nVidia cards unless the P5K is designed for ATi chips. I'm running an ASUS Striker Extreme in my desktop and they like the nVidia cards better.

I'd recommend a better GFX card, like the X1950Pro: Its a fantastic card and isnt as expensive as most of the new DX10 cards. it only runs DX9, but it does it well.
also, i'd reccommend 2GB of ram for gaming, otherwise stuff is a bit slow.
as for the motherboard, its good, but i'd go with a Gigabyte P35 DS3L.
great mobo, good price, got all the features you'll need
1333FSB out of the box/1066DDR2/Core2Duo/Core2Quad/Core2Extreme support
