Is you or anyone else downloading or using your internet? Or someone may have phised your wireless and be illegally using your bandwidth..
Have you also checked for viruses/spyware? You may have trojan dialers (virus) or spyware using up network traffic meainglessly (spyware)..
Can you recall anything you did that may have effected your PC/Router or anything else for this problem to happen?
Are you sure you actually have 10,000ms+ ping?
Do you have another router or a friends you could borrow for an hour or 2 to check if it's your router? Do you have any other computers/laptops using the same internet connection you could connect with and try? If you have, but not powerful enough to try GW - Just log in Guild Wars now on your PC, and you see when you map change you get an IP in the top left of the loading screen, write it down then on the other PC/Laptop, go to:
Start > cmd > OK > ping iphere
Post back the results if so.
Hope some of those suggestions help.
