anyone know the eta on gw being back on??

Im still getting error 058 too -_-

I hope you do get refunded on those calls Milan because they aint cheap lol

Interesting observation: You can get on the official guild wars site using an online proxy, like you would use to get past a school content filter for example.

I suggest you go edit your HOSTS file as a temp fix (normally C:\WINDOWS\System32\drivers\etc\HOSTS) and add this at the end, you can remove it once your ISP managed to fix the problem:

Just been on the phone to a friend who lives about 15-20min walk away, he's not had any probs with getting on GW or any of the gw websites, he can even get onto PlayNC as well which we can't, which is dead strange considering he's got same ISP as well.....

Just out of curiousity, for anyone on a router have they tried plugging directly into the modem and still not been able to get onto GW?

Read the description of the hosts file

It will just let your computer know the right IPs for the login servers/file servers/GW related websites so that it doesn't need to ask those corrupt nameservers in Germany

It doesnt seem to want to save it....

i put it all in click save, close it then re open to find the code has all gone??
