Default will my pc run nightfall and eotn?

Hello you guys think i can run nightfall and eotn?
My specs:
Memory: 1528MB RAM
Processor: Intel(R) Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.06GHz
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 256.0 MB
1280 x 1024 (32 bit) (75Hz)

I can run factions and prophs on dx 8 or with heapsize half of my ram on medium settings on about 20 fps all the time
Nightfall needs a better system then factions and so does eotn

what hz should i run my monitor on?

You should be able to run NF & EOTN on that computer. I can run NF on my laptop which, while having more ram, does not have a dedicated video card. Of course, I have to lower all the graphics settings.

Regardless, you should be ok, but the video card would be the weak point in that setup you have. Still, you *should* be able to run it...

This link will tell you if you can run GW on minimum or maximum settings. Just choose Guild Wars and click on "can you run it"

I think you've probably read stuff about Nightfall crashing for people with really bad video hardware such as Intel integrated stuff... that shouldn't happen for you. The FX5200 is a DirectX 8 card but it doesn't "freak out" when it hits some DX9 effects. I used to run it myself on a Geforce FX5200 128MB. It'll go slower, of course. Whatever settings you're using now should be more or less okay for Nightfall and Eye of the North.

If you're using a CRT monitor, run it at the highest refresh rate (hz) you can at the resolution you want, which is determined by a combination of what your monitor can support and the limitations of your video card. If you're using an LCD, it doesn't really matter. If you're using a CRT monitor I would definitely recommend setting it to something higher than 60hz though, because 60hz puts a lot of strain on your eyes.

Your RAM and processor are more than optimal.

If anything holds you back, it's the graphics card.

I was able to run Prophecies with all settings maxxed (but with 2x AA and "default" reflections) on a GeForce 5500 - mind that my processor is slower than yours.

I currently use a 7800, Nightfall and EotN are slightly more graphically advanced, I'd reccomend a 6800 or so?
