mouse problems, please help!!!
Ok, I'm really new to Guild Wars and so far I just enjoy this game, but only for the past 24 hours I have been having an issue with mouse control.
At first I thought it was just my wireless that was going kooky, but I used an old backup and the problem still persists. This is what is going on: In the game the pointer keeps flashing when I move it, if I try to grab an item or do anything that requires clicking, my pointer jumps all over the place, this is really annoying. At one point, I couldn't do anything for about 15 minutes, and all I was doing was assigning weapons to my character. Does anyone have any idea what is going on? |

more info please:
what kind of mouse is it? optical or ball? what is the brand? does this only happen in guild wars? what kind of comp do you have? does it use on board or a dedicated video card? are all the mouse drivers up to date? I have had a similar issue and simply replacing the mouse mat solved this issue. |

I once got something similar to this when I accidentally turned on NVKeystone (Nvidia's projector/presentation software). Doubt that's it, but did you happen to touch NVKeystone recently?

Sorry didn't get back to you sooner.
My mouse is a logitech optical wireless and yes I have a wired optical backup Only applies to Guild Wars, never had this problem in WoW or any other. I just updated all of my mouse and video drivers but its still the same. I use an nVidea 8400 GS with the latest drivers. everything was fine for the past 2 weeks, never had this before, but all of a sudden with in the last 2 days, the pointer started to flicker ingame and then it just sporadically lost control.
