Prophecies and Eye of the North installed seperatly??
Some weeks ago a friend of mine bought Prophecies and Eye of the North. He wanted to suprise me by playing at Christmas hollidays. He installed both games seperatly on his laptop when he was at the school campus. But he created only 1 account: 1 mail/password.
Back at home he installed GW on his normal pc and we played the game up to Lion's Arch. There he did not get the quest 'What lies beneath' from Len Caldoron. And when I led him in my party to the entrance of the crevasse I got the message that 'one of the partymembers did not have Eye of the North'.
At this stage its hard to figure what exactly happened because my friend left the boxes with the access codes at his dorm at the school campus. However he is certain of this:
-He used the cd-roms of both games to install them.
-He only created 1 account.
-He did NOT use the add new key feature to merge accounts on installing.
The most logical option is probably that he installed Prophecies, created an account, installed Eye of the North, and logged on with his Prophecies account. But we are not sure.
Questions:
1.Is it possible he used BOTH access keys seperatly on the same account without some error message (account already exists)?
2. If you install Eye of the North and don't add it to an existing account, what does it say when you start the game? Is there a way to add it to an existing account later?
Thnx.
