Eye of the North Stuttering
In the outpost Eye of the North, i seem to get real bad frame rates when normally looking around. When i look up to the cieling, its fine, no stuttering at all. Im not sure whether its just because my graphics card cant handle it, however it handles everything else (in Guild Wars) just fine.
Im not sure whether that it is just me, but if this does effect people on a large scale then i hope something can be done.
Ok, it might not be classed as a biug as such, but i thought that this would be the best place to post.

It's not a bug, get a better card/computer and it will stop. You even tell us what's your PC...
And what's the point of this thread anyway?

Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0GHz.
2Gb RAM
ATI X1400 256mb.
I have said, everything else in the entire 4 different guild wars is fine. I go into the outpost, Eye of the North and it stutters like hell. Its not as if theres much detail in there anway.
The point of this thread is so that NCsoft can sort it. I have seen on a couple of updates that they had improved the performance of some place because it was causing stuttering.

EotN is alot heavier on graphics, better textures, more shaders, more post processing.

Like Yanman.be stated, GW:EN is more demanding in the graphics area. For experimentation purposes, adjust your graphics settings back to see if there's an improvement in performance. Do the same with your sound settings as well.
Another issue may be with your Gw.dat file. Check the "sticky" thread on lag problems and try the contig defragmentation. You may not have noticed the problem until you played EotN since it does require a bit more from your machine.

Yeah i suppose it is a bit more heavy. But it is just in the outpost "Eye of the North", anywhere else in Eotn is fine to me. Its not as if theres alot of things in the outpost "Eye of the North" anyway.

Does it matter how many other players are in EotN at the time? Does it happen if you go to LA/Kaineng/Kamadan or some other place where there are a lot of people?

No, everywhere else with lots of people is just fine (Kamadan, Lions Arch and Kaineng). I wouldnt class Eye of the North as having alot of people in it anyway, i always see that there are more in Kamadan etc.
