What Wrath said.
Also, you don't have all that much RAM, so make sure you're not running too many background processes at the same time as you're gaming.
And, of course, nothing which uses the net while you're gaming (ie no filesharing - that will definitely give you unbelievable lag).

Updated. Actually, i'm using the Omega drivers, which actually give me a nice FPS boost compared to the ATI one.
I'm using same omega drivers as before the reinstall, because ATI stopped making drivers for my card. =\ The latest dx is also installed
EDIT: I'm actually pretty good with computers. So, I of course I always use task manager to stop all processes except the required ones. Right now i'm running 18 processes , including firefox which is usually closed during gameplay =)

freebies: I agree with the rest get the new video drives.. if that doesn't work. a Friend of mine had a similar problem .. turned out there was some corruption in his .dat file. In which case a clean install of Gw will help
Maybe copy out your existing client and install/download another one. Let it do the few updates that it needs, and see if your fps are any better

Yes it can, if the problem is due to corrupt files, but you should probably warn freebie that the -image keyword makes the game download a complete Guildwars installation, replacing all files. If he's got all three chapters he's looking at a 3.6 GB download, and that's pretty painful even with a decent connection.

But the thing is...like i said earlier, ATI stopped making new drivers for my card about a year ago, so there really isnt any "newer" drivers for the card since 2006
Also, I already downloaded the full game with "-image" before playing the first time after the reinstall of XP, as well as a full defrag afterward.
But I'll delete the DAT and redownload and redefrag once again, hoping that it'll fix it. I have a pretty quick internet so 3.6g normally only take me 2-3 hours so I dont see any downsides
I'll update you guys afterwards, thanks!
