Connectivity Problems: West Coast - Anet's End, But No Resolve - Anyone Else?
Anet is still horrible with their "tech support" after all these years, I see.
Anyone else near the Arizona/California area (or anywhere) start getting 058 and 007 errors over the last few days/week out of nowhere?
Of course, it's not on my end, but Anet tried "putting me through the paces" with all their garbage about it being on the users-end.
I basically had it out w/ them via email, and their "tech support" doesn't seem to be looking into the problem what-so-ever.
Only recently started:
-sometimes could not log in at all
-other times, could get it to load, but could not load cities
-other times, could load into cities, but when zoning, would get the 007 error...
...getting 058 error constantly at this point and cannot log in at all.
I've was able to connect a few times over the last couple of days and play for small amounts of time, but it didn't last and only got worse.
I should point out: I'm 33, an IT Professional (a real one, so "checking my modem, router" etc. is rudimentary b.s. I'm tired of hearing from Anet), build and sell high-end gaming rigs, and married with a wife who loves this friggin' game now.
Whether or not they run their servers for free, when you pay $50 a pop for a game, especially when you're buying two at a time for myself and my wife, as an example, this is unacceptable, and I'm disgusted they've not done something about their "tech support" to this day. Sorry for the "rant", but this is ridiculous, the way they "handle" things.
Anyway, if anyone else has been having problems lately, and you're around the AZ/CA areas especially, please let me know... maybe you could drop Anet a line as well and help me get on them about this.
Wouldn't be surprised if they tried to trace my IP to see if they could find my account and ban it, after having to come-down on their supposed "techs" with all their b.s. and nonsense.

It happens, and if it just starting happening randomly its probably temporary. Wait it out.
And yes their tech support is some of the worst I have seen to date.
I'm in northern California and my play hasn't been interrupted.

Arizona here on Cox and have no problems whatsoever.
99% of these problems are user-end. If it wasn't, I would potentially be having the same problems as you.

Southern California here. Got Error 7 three times since I've been playing an hour and a half ago... Vent, TS, and a few other games had no problems whatsoever.

I have started having some issues in the last few day; pings as high as 1500ms and one disconnect during a hm dungeon with friends. I was not even presented with a reconnect dialog box. It told me that the server had logged me out and I had to log back in. Everyone in the group dropped, however I was the only one that got logged out.
