Texture Problems
I just started up Guild Wars today after a long hiatus of play. When I got to the character select, I noticed that the graphics were glitchy, inconsistently popping in and out. Once I started up a character, it appeared to me (with my limited knowledge of computers) that most of the textures were not able to load. Here are a few pictures:
Kaineng Center  Random Arenas  Is this a problem with my graphics card or something else? Any help would be appreciated. |

First thing, download a new Gw.dat file. If the file is corrupted, that could explain the missing textures and it will help out narrow down the problem.
If getting a new .dat file doesn't fix it, then it's probably your video card. |
