GW is an MMORPG, and that means it's instanenously saved online, not on ur computer, so don't worry.

Earlier today, I copied the entire GW folder and all sub folders to a DVD-R. I had previously done a -image of the game, so it amounted to about 4.2GB. Getting to my point, I can now copy that info to another computer, create a shortcut to gw.exe, and use it to play the game.
So, just copy the entire GW directory to the new computer for a much quicker install...

Are you sure it requires no registry keys too?

After you've copied the files to the new computer, and run gw.exe, it'll ask where to install the game. You tell it to install to the directory you put the files in, and it'll simply start working. I don't know if that process adds any necessary registry entries, or if GW simply doesn't need any, but it definitely works...

Thats a useful tidbit to know.
Reinstalling GW using the normal process is quite time consuming.

...if you can't find where a game like Guild Wars is installed, why are you "building" her a new system?
A tech or anyone with real computer technical knowhow would simply remove the drive and transfer the entire drives data which is possible through any number of programs.
