Hi guys, I bought this new custom made d5000t from HP. I would like to know how well it would play on Guild Wars and possibly GW2 in the future. Will it play max settings on GW1? I kind of think that the video card is low-end. Anyways any suggestions/ recomendations are welcome and no ranting/flaming please. Thanks alot!

Should be fine, looks future proof.
The video card will probably suck in GW2, but it should play GW1 just fine. It can be upgraded later to a much better card which is what I recommend doing, but don't do that until GW2 is out.
Though I am under the impression that even 512mb 8800GT's and cards like the HD4870 are going to rip GW2 to pieces anyways, I think the requirements are being a bit exaggerated. I just get that impression.
I mean check it out, this http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814129113 Is a good card, I am sure it would rip up GW2.
The 9800GTX http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814130339 is cheap now too, if you want to take the Nvidia Route.

Well the 9500 isn't very high end, but you should be able to max out Guild Wars on it and it will still be playable I think. I don't think it is a high end card though so don't expect too much from it.
And yeah I know, the EVGA version is out of stock because the price on it is really good. I think the new ATI cards still beat it though, not sure.

Is it a good plan to replace it with an 8800GS or a 9600gt? Or what is the best replacement I can get for less than $250?

9600GT is superior to the 8800GS. Good choice on the 4x1GB.

That is what I got the 9600GT graphics card although you system sound similar to my new one which isn't home yet I have dual core duo 3.0.
I was intially going with the 8500GTS but they were sold out.Get the 9600 it can play Age of Conan.
Mine is coming with XP though I will hold off for windows 7.

Cool, I'm going to save up for the 9600GT.
By the way, how much FPS are you getting in full-screen with your 9600GT?

the best card under $250 is the HD4850, and it's currently available just about everywhere, since AMD are getting ridiculously high yields and can churn these GPUs out very quickly.
