so you want a computer + monitor + mouse + keyboard + speakers for 600£?
well... are you buying from overclockers.co.uk (recommended by me)?
gonna post some links here later
600£ is a bit tight, but it might work if offc you build it yourself and you don't expect
top-of-the-line performance.
EDIT: take a look at this system:
cpu : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CP-191-AM
motherboard : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MB-141-AB
memory : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MY-072-OC
case : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...ck%20(No%20PSU)
hard drive : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=HD-058-SA
optical drive : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CD-099-SA
PSU : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CA-026-OC
GPU : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=GX-091-PC
monitor : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=MO-098-SA
mouse : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=KB-060-LG
keyboard : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...20(967929-0120)
speakers : http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...20(970264-0120)
GRAND TOTAL: 770,36£
i know, over budget. this will destroy anything you throw at it though...
GPU: you could go with the 4850, that's your call.
i went with very basic speakers, but they perform very well. i have them at home too. if you have more room you could go with a 5.1 system, but i bought one too and all 5 speakers are sitting in front of me. again, this is your call.
mouse and keyboard: this is a matter of taste, but the G11 is great. that mouse will suffice for guild wars or any other game.
monitor: 22'', because of the budget. samsung makes great quality monitors though
PSU: it's enough for one 4870, but if you wanna go cfx, then you'd better upgrade to minimum 700w
optical drive: well, don't waste money here. anything, and i mean anything, will do here.
hard drive: samsung spinpoint = quality. 500gb will suffice i think, but if you want you can upgrade to 1 TB.
case: well, here i had to think of the budget again. if you don't like the looks of that case, choose another one, but i'd stick with antec. they just build quality cases.
motherboard + ram + cpu: again, i had to think of the budget. take another cpu if you want, but amd = more bang for the buck. if it's just gaming you wanna do, then i wouldn't recommend quad core with your budget. mobo and ram have same socket and should work.
hope this was helpful

yeah it should work
just get 32-bit, because you only have 2gb of ram with my set-up. if you want more memory = 64-bit

No, it won't.
If it came with the Dell, then it's licensed to that PC and may not be used on any other.
My apologies for the lack of updates to the UK prices in Moriz's thread - I've been a bit overwhelmed with real-life issues
(Oh, and Dark Horni Worm - OverclockersUK are an excellent company (even if their forum-goers are a bit weird), but they tend to be expensive. Check out the same items at my favourite alternative, http://www.novatech.co.uk/novatech/)
