Maybe it's because I know only a little about hardware, or because I want a better deal than existed in January, but is the computer parts guide ever gonna get updated? And why was it closed?

It is closed so that only the Mods can change it or add information as they see fit.

What parts are you interested in btw?

Um, nothing really in specific. I will probably get the econobox lol as I don't play many games. I just wondered if the topic was abandoned since it wasn't updated in a couple months, that's all. Like new deals or better things available.

Sorry about that. I had a busy period, and haven't been keeping watch of the section as closely as I was back in January. Now that I am back around, the guide should be updated by the two technicians that maintain it.

Check back maybe Friday or Saturday, and it should be updated. I can also provide you with a custom list if you so choose.

Wow, thanks for the (future) update! You don't need to give me a custom list (whatever that is lol). I just wanted to inquire on it's status as I found it a really helpful.

update complete. keep in mind, i've dropped all mention of mail in rebate and included monitors for each setup, so the prices will appear to be quite high.
