45 degrees at 100% load is NOT high, you have nothing to worry about with those temperatures.....

Of course overclocking will increase those temps somewhat and a good airflow in your case is vital for that.

The HAF932 that was mentioned above is a sweet case (might be mine when I upgrade to a larger case sometime), with really good airflow and enough room for just about anything.

wow the Coolermaster HAF932 looks great, and the shop where I always buy the parts have this one on stock

and the price is good too .

Just a few things , I was reading the review and they mentioned this:

# Fans are quite loud
# Screw-less system for optical drives does not hold perfectly.

That the Fans are quite loud I don't care that much , but the screwless system for the optical drives is very important

, just thinking if this can be an issue.

Another thing , and maybe I am wrong , but I read somewhere (don't remember right now) that fans on the sidepanel isn't good for airflow , is that true ? This case have a huge fan on the side panel , just wondering.

well for reference I installed 2 120mm fans on the side of my case and lowered the temp 4-6 degrees Celsius, dependent on load. As for the screw-less system - I have heard a couple people complain about them, but there's always a couple ppl that will complain about anything ---- anyways, I prefer screws for the ultimate secure, reliable, and final hold.

Ah alright , so you can also use screws if you want , I thouhg it was only screw-less

EDIT: Also ordered a Prolimatech Megahalems cooler , the xigmatek isn't working good for me.

Ah, I forgot you were getting a new case too - care to check your temps with the old Xigmatek in the new case before swapping them? I'm curious to see how much effect the HAF932 with some good fans will have on it. XD

I have 4x Scythe Sflex Gs on my side panel and they drop my GPU temps ~3c. I swapped one out and put it on the bottom and my temps dropped another ~2c. Im going get maybe 3 more fans, one bottom intake, one rear exhaust, and another for push/pull on my Mega.

I got the new cooler (Prolimatech Megahalems) and man, this cooler works good , my idle temp was 25/27 degrees and the max temperature reached was 45 degrees during the stresstest with prime95 for 9+ hours

, the temperature didn't cross the 45 degrees , I am quite happy with the new cooler

, now just waiting for the coolermaster HAF

@ Zomgyogi , make sure that your cooler is having good pressure with the heat sink and the cpu , that was my issue with the my previous cooler (xigmatek) , it wasn't have the enough pressure to transfer the heat to the heat sink because of the plastic pins , so I needed to replace it , the xigmatek is a nice one , but after a year or sometime the plastic pins aren't good anymore, it was mentioned on some reviews.

Still I didn't receive the coolermaster HAF, but right now , with my old case , I have overclocked my cpu to 3.4ghz with no issues at all , as my new cooler is working fine, so I can imagine with the HAF case I will lower the temperature a bit more

, probably allowing me to overclock the cpu to 3.6ghz

About the video card , I still have my old 9800gx2 that is enough at the moment, and I am waiting for more new ATI or Nvidiea releases.

No heatsink is fine. i7s just run really hot.

Use Everest to check your video card temps. Or, if you are using a GTX295, which I assume you are from this thread, you could download the performance tools for nVidia drivers.

The nVidia system tools should work for the 9800GX2 as well.

For GPU temps you can use GPU-Z.
Also for CPU temps you can use Real Temp.

As for fan filter you can use panty hose or even mosquito nets, itll be much cheaper.

Great, I measured the temps of my GPU, and I remember before , with my old case , the temps were ~69c , and at load was ~74c , now with the CM HAF the temps are ~40c idle and ~50c at load , WOW , the temps went really down lol, and I have the 9800gx2 that is a hot as hell lol.

Anyway , topic can be closed, I got a nice CM HAF thanks for the advice of the people here at gwguru and also a great CPU cooler and temps measures softwares
