Computer Freezing
As soon as I load up Guild Wars, my computer freezes, and doesn't come out of it. I can't do anything to unfreeze it, and I have to pull out the battery and charger just to turn it off. I use a Nvidia GeForce 8600M GT card, and I just can't figure it out. My computer is working fine if I don't run Guild Wars, but as soon as I do, it just freezes, and I have never had this problem before. I have an 80 GB harddrive, and 2 gigs of ram, I'm also on a MacBook Pro, using Boot Camp for Windows to play.
Edit: Thanks for moving this. I think I have narrowed the problem down to the automatic shut off temperature. How do I access the BIOS on Windows (or Mac) to change the temperature?

no, I will go ahead and do an -image thing, and try that. Thanks for the tip. If it doesn't work, then heh, idk what to do. It's never had this happen before. I recently sent it in to Mac because my Graphics Card had glitched up, and they replaced it on the warranty. It's the same card, I checked, so I don't know what the problem is.

No actually, I have had the same problem. It wasn't the shut-off temp. My Macbook Air doesn't seem to have that function, So it seems the last update from A-Net broke the game when running on Mac Hardware. A quick fix is just to -image it. That seems to fix the problems.

That's exactly what my PC is doing - it will run for days until I try to play GW, then it locks up. I did the -image also, and it didn't work for me - hope it does for you!
