Are you using a laptop with windows xp? I had that exact same error, I thought it was just a bad laptop, because it did it occasionally when guild wars wasn't running as well. For some reason, as long as I stayed out of combat, it only rarely did a blue screen, so I could sit in kamadan for hours at a time merching, and it wouldn't blue screen. But as soon as I went into an explorable... 10-15 minutes later it would crash. Eventually I just moved my internet connection to another computer and redownloaded all the guild wars files, because I got so fed up
Do you know what exactly in the BIOS you changed to get it to work? I would love to know, in case I run into this issue again.

Similar problem
I'm running into a similar issue but I only get the BSoD when I'm starting up the program. It updates, and as it's opening the log-in screen, I'll sometimes get a weird clicking sound comming out of my speaker and then my system crashes.
It's a practically brand new computer (only about a month old, actually), and I'm running Windows XP. The person I had build the thing thinks it could be related to the sound card but I was looking for some input from other GW players. So if this is similar to the issues you guys have been having, any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
