Razor mouse issue.
Well Razor don't have a forum, which is poor on their part, as usually communities can sort out problems within them selves, however you guys have NEVER failed me before, and some of your knowledge often makes me wonder why half of you aren't employed designing new technology.
Well anyway, I've had my Razor Copperhead for a while now, and while the standard drivers that come with it work FINE, the new ones from the site most definitely DO NOT.
I install the drivers, re-start my PC and, while the lights glowing, the mouse isn't moving. I've tried unplugging the mouse holding the profile button and plugging it back in and nothing works, they only way to get it back to normal is uninstall the new drivers and reinstall the old ones.
Hopefully your guys will be able to help, even though its a rather niche subject.
Thanks a lot for your time!

Well, then you may just have to stick with the old drivers.
Is there any reason why you got the new ones? I didn't think there was really any reasons to do that.
The only thing I can think of is that you may have to go into the hardware tab and configure the mouse again.. or something, or force detect it somehow.. I don't really know much about mouses since all mine have worked fine.

Did you also update your firmware? According to some support fourms (not razer's) the new driver requires the new firmware. However I can not find that documented on thier site.

I have the same mouse. Never saw a good reason to update the driver. If it ain't broke - don't fix it. I would reinstall using the original drivers from the disk that came with it.
If you want the new drivers you could always check the Razer forums. In the event that doesn't work I would contact them. They have helped me directly in the past. GL

I always trust Microsoft when it comes to drivers. I just use the default drivers that they give me. If theres no reason for me to install drivers from the CD, then I won't. I hate bloat-ware.
I agree that firmware/drivers are good for peripherals that could use it... but for a mouse? I say if a company doesn't have all the function parts of a mouse working, driver wise, by the initial release... don't buy from them.
Roll back the drivers, uninstall, and let these new "drivers" from Razer mature before trying it again... or ever
