Question on Reinstalling Client
Question: When you reinstall client, do you have to go through all the "area downloading" like we all did when we first got the game? (Battle Isles would have 12k-ish files to download)

No, you can keep your GW.dat file provided it is uncorrupted in the first place.
If you had to remove your GW.dat file, you can tell the newly installed client to download ALL files available to it (this includes every single map, texture, everything) and rebuild a new GW.dat file. To do this, right click on the shortcut you use to open Guild Wars. Click properties. Under the shortcut tab, you will notice a bar that says, "Target". You will see something very similar to this: "E:\Program Files\Guild Wars\Gw.exe" Your E:\ will most likely be a C:\. Now, put a space after the ' " ' mark at the end. Type -image. Press apply, and the OK. Act as if you are opening the game via the shortcut. Rather then open like normal, the game will now download everything possible, and then will close upon finishing. Yes, unless you still have a gw.dat - which is unlikely if you're re-installing.
Re-install, then use the -image switch (edit the shortcut and add a space followed by -image in the target box.) It will the download every file you'll ever need - until the next update, of course. Can be a lengthy procedure - consider leaving it running overnight. Don't forget to remove the -image once it's finished downloading (it's around 3.7GB) [Edit] Bah, Rajah types fater than me. Shouldn't it say "after the """ sign at the end"? Heh, that is, after the final quotation mark - stupid punctuation!
