this game used to run fine.. after i installed factions i have a problem with the ground turning white after a little time playing... what is the reason for this? im running nvidia gforce 4 with lots of ram and processing power.
the game still runs but it gets laggy.

Make sure you update your Forceware (Geforces drivers). Make sure you have your firewalls are allowing GW.

Your textures aren't rendering. That happened to me on laptop when I was almost out of memory. Soon after it started, I'd crash. If I ran it in windowed mode though, it wouldn't do that.

The same thing kept happening to me, but I just lowered the graphics and it disappeared. I don't know though if we'd be able to remove the snow on Wintersday. Hope it helps !

I had a bug like this on my 8600GT today, Guild Wars suddenly got a huge sheet of white fog covering the screen, turning AA off and back on fixed it, first time it's ever happened.

Drivers are from December though, shouldn't be a problem.
